Moat Desilting
We have recently used this team to clear, pump out and de-silt a moat/watercourse round our property. The location and immediate environment presented difficulties of access for heavy machinery (eg JCB) and silt pumping seemed to afford the least damaging option .
They first came with equipment and an inflatable and made a comprehensive survey on which they based charges.
There was field space to deposit the silt adjacent to our property.
The team came for a period of two weeks in November and removed water and silt and cleared to the base (8-10 ft in places) with a mini digger and further silt pumping.
They worked hard and well and showed good organisation. The whole operation afforded us the minimum of inconvenience and I should be happy to recommend them to anyone with similar requirements.
